2. Brief description:
A unified electronic information management system, a new official website and mobile application was designed for the “Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center” SNCO,within the framework of UNDP "Support to national investments aimed at climate risk resilience in Armenia" programme, financed by the Government of Japan. Due to those activities operational analysis of existing data on weather forecasts, climate risks and environmental monitoring will be directly available to the public and other stakeholders.

As of October 20, 2024, the app is still under development. It doesn’t include the interactive data on environmental pollution yet.

II. Implementation
11. Stakeholders involved, their expected benefits:
Due to the whole project the effectiveness of hydro-meteorological forecasts and monitoring in approximately 80 percent of the territory of Armenia has increased up to 95 percent accuracy.
The Mobile App is a part of modernization of forecasting system throughout the country. The benefit is effective environmental management and modernized forecasting system.
6,000 people will directly benefit from the results of the project, including farmers and their groups, local private organizations, local governments and regional authorities. The indirect beneficiaries of the project imply wider public.
