The first regional Aarhus Centre in Belarus was established in Hrodna in the frame of the joint European Union and United Nations Development Programme project “Support to the development of a comprehensive framework for international environmental cooperation in the Republic of Belarus” on the basis of Hrodna Regional Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
