UNECE E-Transition Program

In order to assist UNECE member States more effectively and to better tailor the Commission's implementation of the E-Transition Programme, the UNECE conducted a series of country assessment reports: "Towards A Knowledge-Based Economy". These reports, which were prepared in 2001 and 2003, provide an overview of a situation in the areas relevant to the development and functioning of the knowledge-based economy. With the outline of "Towards A Knowledge-Based Economy", individual country reports and list of participating experts.
