The South Caucasus Cooperation Program is a regional initiative established by the Eurasia Foundation to facilitate greater contact and cooperation among leading organizations in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Managed by staff in all three countries, the Program provides financing to grassroots organizations in the South Caucasus to implement cross-border projects that address regional concerns. Through its grantmaking and operational activities, the Program supports cross-border projects in the Eurasia Foundation’s mandate areas of civil society, public administration and policy, and private enterprise development. Within these broad fields, the Program develops independent and professional media, builds the capacity of policy research organizations, and increases the involvement of civil society in transboundary water resource management.
