Repeat Performance

This opinion by a member of a Ukrainian Human Rights Protection Group reports on the response by the Government of Ukraine to decision II/5b on compliance by Ukraine taken by Parties to the Aarhus Convention at their second meeting in Almaty in 2005. The article's title refers to the subsequent decision by the Parties at their third meeting in Riga in June 2008 (decision III/6f), which conditionally cautioned Ukraine for continuing non-compliance with certain of its obligations under the Convention. The Kharkiv Human Rights Protection Group invites people to send information concerning environmental issues linked with the Aarhus Convention, including responsiveness to public information requests and public participation in Ukraine, to the organization.
