Public Ecological Information (Aarhus) Centers

Since 2002, Aarhus Centers have been established in the Republic of Armenia through Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Nature Protection and OSCE office in Yerevan. There are 14 Aarhus Centers in different regions of Armenia in operation. In virtue of their activities, information concerning environmental problems is now available for the people of Armenia. Aarhus Centers also promote public participation in environmental decision-making processes and in manage a variety of environmental education activities.
