PRTR Ordinance (PRTRO) Explanatory Guide

The PRTR ordinance will establish the legal basis that is needed in order to set up a PRTR in Switzerland that fulfils the requirements of the UNECE Protocol on Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers. The present draft ordinance is intended to ensure the creation of the PRTR system in conformity with the requirements of the Protocol and to create the regulations required for the implementation of the its reporting procedure.
