Pacific Council Task Force on California’s Adaptation to Climate Change

This citizen-led Task Force aims to formulate consensus policy recommendations that will enable the State of California to move from strategy to action on climate change adaptation. It is composed of a cross-sectoral group of leaders representing environmental NGOs, executives from the energy sector and policy makers. The work of the Task Force is intended to complement the emerging inter-agency strategy being developed by the California Natural Resources Agency to address the most likely and impending climate change scenarios confronting California – from sea-level rise, heat episodes and major forest fires, to precipitation and snowpack effects on the state’s water supply.
