Open Door Grant Program

Eurasia Partnership Foundation’s mission is to empower people to effect change for social justice and economic prosperity through hands-on programs, helping them to improve their communities and their own lives. With locally registered offices in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, the Foundation is the legacy institution of Eurasia Foundation (EF), a privately managed non-profit organization established in 1992 to deliver seed capital to emerging civil society organizations in the former Soviet countries. Eurasia Partnership Foundation invites Georgian civil society organizations to submit project proposals that will encourage and facilitate a resolution of the current political impasse through broad, inclusive dialogue among civil society organizations, political groups, and citizens with different viewpoints. Preference will be given to proposals that demonstrate inclusion of a broad range of stakeholders and participants.  Proposed initiatives should support civic dialogue and strive for the broader goal of strengthening democratic institutions in Georgia.  Eurasia Partnership Foundation will receive proposals through the Open Door grant mechanism, which is designed to test short-term, innovative projects in new fields.  In addition to the above-mentioned focus, EPF places special emphasis on funding recently founded organizations or riskier project ideas that have the potential to be replicated on a larger scale. Additional information about the application submission procedures is available at the website www.epfound.ge.
