UNESCO's online platform serves to facilitate initial contacts among stakeholders and launch activities under the Action Lines of the Geneva Plan of Action. The Plan includes the following action lines: access to information and knowledge, e-learning and e-science, cultural diversity and identity, linguistic diversity and local content, media, and the ethical dimensions of the information society.
