OECD's work in the area of governance and capacity development is carried out primarily through its Network on Governance (GOVNET), an international forum that brings together practitioners of development co-operation agencies, both bilateral and multilateral, as well as experts from partner countries. Areas of work include: the fight against corruption, public sector reform, capacity development, human rights, democracy, the rule of law, assessing governance development, and difficult partnerships. The GOVNET recommended sites, included on this site, is a portal of electronic resources addressing capacity development, anti-corruption campaigns and good goverance programmes.
