Proceedings of the International Workshop convened in 2000 to support the development of the UNECE Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment to the Espoo Convention. The Workshop developed ideas and recommendations regarding the role of public participation and a Health Impact Assessment in Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), and effective cooperation between the Aarhus Convention and Espoo Convention on issues related to SEA.
