Information Access as a Vehicle for Sustainable Development in Asia: Establishing a regional agreement

This policy brief, prepared for the 2005 Asia-Europe Environment Forum, maintains that access to environmental information is vital for promoting policies and measures conducive to sustainable development. In Asia the disclosure of information on the environment is limited, however.
