How Are the ToxicsRelease Inventory Data Used?-- government, business, academic and citizen uses

The Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) has served as the model for many countries’ Chemical Right-To-Know programs and laws. Within the next few years, more than 30 nations are expected to have a TRI-like system, known internationally as Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers (PRTRs).
