Hazardous Substances Observation List

The observation list includes substances that are particularly hazardous to health or the environment and are used so widely or in such amounts that they may represent special problems at the national level. Although not an exhaustive list of all such substances, it includes about 250 substances and groups of substances as examples. The observation list can be a useful tool when companies review their use of chemicals in compliance with Norway's Product Control Act.
