Greenpeace Russia

Greenpeace is a non-profit organisation, with a presence in 40 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific. Greenpeace of the USSR was organized in 1989 in the time of 'perestroyka' when administarative system was being replaced by newly emerged Russian democracy.Greenpeace of Russia appeared in 1992 after the USSR was dissolved. They promote open, informed debate about society's environmental choices. Greenpeace Russia uses research, lobbying, and quiet diplomacy to pursue it goals, as well as high-profile, non-violent conflict to raise the level and quality of public debate.
