"dialogue matters" provides training courses for environmental professionals that include: how to work with stakeholders, relevant skills and principles of good practice. If participation is the best way forward, a process that is coherent and fit for purpose can be designed, either one-off or involving a sequence of workshops interspersed with activities such as gathering information, checking ideas or drafting text. The workshops aim to help people agree a long-term vision; scope the issues; share and collate information; and think of ideas and solutions.
