Georgian Center for the Conservation of Wildlife (GCCW) is a not-for-profit, non-political, non-governmental organization to encourage biodiversity conservation activities in Georgia. Is mission is to promote sustainable development policies and adaptive management strategies in Georgia by (1) applying the modern achievements of conservation biology to the natural resources management and biodiversity conservation practices and policies, (2) carrying out studies, conservation actions and educational activities, and (3) assisting relevant governmental institutions and community-based organizations in capacity building.(Original source:
