European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument

ENPI is a new funding instrument of the European Union which replaces TACIS, MEDA and other instruments. With information on national, regional and cross-border cooperation programmes, documents, news, projects, public participation and online survey ("voting"). In English and Ukrainian.Ukraine gradually adapts its legislation to the EU standards, makes efforts to implement the relevant political and economic reforms, and to follow the appropriate social and environmental policy. In turn, this requires substantial funding. And the government of Ukraine doesn’t have enough sources for such reforms. The EU supports Ukraine’s implementation of the provisions of the EU-Ukraine Action Plan by not only political but financial means, too. The EU is one of the main donors for Ukraine. Lack of awareness and participation of the stakeholders in the development of the programs within the ENPI and their monitoring limits the possibilities for effective cooperation with relevant stakeholders in the EU, doesn’t promote resolving of problems, which exist in Ukraine, and makes the assistance of the EU not so effective as planned during creation of the new funding instrument. The main goal of the web site is to raise the awareness of the NGOs, local authorities, scientific institutions and other stakeholders about possibilities to get funding and its priorities within the ENPI.
