Environmental Performance Report: Goals and results

This selection from Fuji Xerox's 2005 Sustainability Report sets goals for the three priority issues of CO2 emissions, new resource input and hazardous substance reduction, as part of a companywide strategy to double its eco-efficiency (compared to 2000 levels) and reduce chemical substance risk by 2010. In response to the adoption of Japan's pollutant release and transfer register (PRTR) law, the company set the goal of reducing PRTR substances discharged into the air by 40%.
