Featuring environmental terms in nine languages (Finnish, Estonian, English, French, German, Swedish, Latvian, Lithuanian and Russian), the Environmental Dictionary EnDic covers a wide field of environmental protection and nature conservation – e.g. such fields as meteorology, hydrology, environmental engineering, water supply and wastewater treatment, waste management, and the environmental policy of the EU. About one third of the entries are furnished with definitions in English, Estonian and Finnish. With over 80,000 searchwords.
