Environmental democracy up for grabs:a cross-roads for the Australian environment?

This article discusses international counter-environmental activism in the context of recent events in Australia. It reviews so-called Strategic Litigation Against Public Participation (or SLAPP) law suits as a popular approach used by anti-environmental interests to prohibit activists from participating in specified protest activities.
