Electronic Environmental Democracy: The Future of Information Technology in Participatory Environmental Management

The purpose of this project is to examine the impact of the Internet on public involvement in environmental decision-making. The project’s objectives are to 1) examine the current state of electronic participation, 2) evaluate electronic participation efforts, and 3) identify the appropriate role of electronic participation in environmental management.
