Central European Initiative (CEI)

The CEI is composed of 9 European Union and 9 non-EU Member States. It was established as an intergovernmental forum for political, economic and cultural cooperation with the aim of helping countries in transition in Central and South Eastern Europe. The CEI Plan of Action for 2007-2009 is to facilitate and co-finance the transfer of know-how on fresh transition and negotiation experience to non-EU countries.
