Central American Civil Society Forum on Environment and Development

Foro de Sociedad Civil Centroamericana de Ambiente y Desarrollo (FOSCAD) is a participatory and consultative body constituted by Central American Commission on Environment and Development (CCAD). It is comprised of private sector and civil society organizations which play a role in CCAD-led processes. FOSCAD is cooperating on the drafting and consulting of a Central American agreement on public participation in the environmental issues, using the Aarhus Convention as a model for this endeavour while taking into account the specificities of Central America.
