The Border Environment Cooperation Commission (BECC) identifies, supports, evaluates and certifies sustainable environmental infrastructure projects through broad public participation, to improve the quality of life of the people of the U.S.-Mexico border region. The BECC is an international organization created by the Governments of the United States and Mexico under the side agreements to the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
