Bali Strategic Plan for Technology Support andCapacity-building

The Bali Strategic Plan for Technology Support and Capacity-building addresses the provision of technology support and capacity-building to developing countries as well as to countries with economies in transition.It was as adopted by the High-level Open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group onan Intergovernmental Strategic Plan for Technology Support and Capacity-building at its third session, in Bali, Indonesia, on 4 December 2004. Among other objectives, the Plan aims to provide a framework for capacity-building to ensure the effective participation of developing countries as well as countries with economies in transition in negotiations concerning multilateral environmental agreements.
