Access to Information Act 2005

Uganda's Access to Information Act, adopted in 2005, prescribes the classes of information and procedure for obtaining access to that information by citizens. The Act is pursuant to Article 41 of the Ugandan Constitution, which guarantees all citizens the right to information and directs parliament to implement this right.
