Aarhus Convention Signatories Discuss Future of Treaty

One of the questions addressed at the second session of the Signatories to the Aarhus Convention, held in Dubrovnik, Croatia in October 2000, was whether the Convention should be extended globally. At the meeting, NGOs which played a central role in drafting the Convention decided not to press for globalization of the Convention.
