Aarhus Convention for Better Environment

This publication contains information about citizens' rights for participation in everyday issues of environmental decision-making and on how the public can influence these processes. This booklet contains a list of the main laws on environmental protection, starting from the Constitution of the Russian Federation, and information about organizations working in the field of environmental and health protection. Much attention is paid to the Aarhus Convention, which was the first international document generalizing environmental rights of the common people.
