Countdown 2010: Public Participation and Awareness

Launched in 2004, Countdown 2010 is an alliance of actors from all sectors that are working to meet the 2010 biodiversity challenge. One of its main objectives is to increase public participation in environmental decision-making across Europe to protect biodiversity.
