Friends of the Baltic

Friends of the Baltic is a Russian-based environmental non-governmental and inter-regional youth organization. It aims at creation of an effective public environmental education system and forming an environmentally sound lifestyle. It provides methodological and organizational support for nature protection initiatives as well as an assistance to development of cooperation between teachers and youth eco-groups in the Baltic region. Its mission is collection, publication and dissemination of environmental information and educational materials; organization of seminars, conferences, training courses; youth environmental expeditions and camps; and public actions.
