The Republic of Kazakhstan has signed and ratified the UN Framework Convention on Global Climate Change (UNFCCC) and is committed to joining the battle against global warming. The Interagency Commission on Climate Change Issues coordinates domestic efforts and manages compliance with international obligations. The Climate Change Coordination Center has been designated as its working body.
