First report on Aarhus convention in B&H in preparation phase

The first report on the implementation of the Aarhus Convention in B&H was prepared in the past months. Thanks to early access to the draft version, many environmental NGOs had the opportunity to make comments and remarks. Although only several of them used this opportunity, comments submitted were included in the report facilitating that the report presents the real situation. Although the working group responsible for the preparation of the report promised that should be published on several official governmental web pages, this did not happen. However, NGOs also failed in this process as their involvement in the public participation process to prepare the report was very small.
