European Parliament resolution on the European Environment & Health Action Plan 2004-2010

A provision of the European Parliament resolution on the Action Plan 2004-2010 states that "the provisions of the Aarhus Convention and Directive 2003/4/EC(2) concerning public access to environmental information provide an ideal framework for the EU environment and health monitoring system". The provision was recalled by the Committee on Sustainable Development of the Council of Europe's Chamber of Local Authorities at its 17th Plenary Session, held on 9 September 2009.
