Spain: Ombudsman obliges the City of Murcia to open participation for NGOs in the Social Council

The article describes the case of an association in the city of Murcia which was denied access to the Social Council of the city, causing the intervention of the Ombudsman. The case eventually results in the High Commissioner of the Cortes Generales issuing a resolution requsting the Consistory to initiate the procedure for the appointment of members representing local environmental associations.
