This workshop at the 4th Internet Governance Forum (IGF), in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt 15-18 November 2009, will discuss a draft code of good practice in Internet governance with a view to an agreement on key elements from the perspective of both Internet governance entities and Internet users. The draft code had been prepared APC, the Council of Europe and UNECE, with input from the experience of the Aarhus Convention, over a three-year period and involving the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) stakeholders. Members of the wider public are invited to review and comment online on the draft Code of good practice using the initiative's wiki. More information on the development of the draft code of good practice can be viewed on the Aarhus Convention international outreach webpage - http://www-dev.unece.org/env/pp/international.htm.
