REACH Regulation requires companies which produce or import substances in the EU to register these chemicals at the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). ReachLink SA was founded in order to provide the SIEFreach® IT platform supporting industry for collaboration in Substance Information Exchange Forums (SIEFs). For Data Sharing, the REACH Regulation requires the formation of Substance Information Exchange Fora (SIEFs) to fulfill these obligations: Pre-registration data, submitted to the ECHA REACH-IT system, is the basis for companies to start the process of identifying and agreeing on the sameness of the substances and to form SIEFs, with the ultimate target to create a Joint Registration dossier to be submitted to ECHA, in line with REACH legal requirement. With ReachLink e-News, seminars and "webnars", SIEFreach Administrator training, and database of more than 7,500 chemicals. Although ReachLink is a commercial service, its basic service includes read only information and Public Study and is free for pre-registrants.
