The Marrakech Process is a global multi-stakeholder process to promote sustainable consumption and production (SCP) and to work towards a 'Global Framework for Action on SCP', the so-called 10-Year Framework of Programmes on SCP (10YFP). The first public draft of the proposal for a 10YFP was circulated for comment in 2008. It is under consultation with all regions and stakeholders. The Secretariat of the UNEP Division of Technology, Industry and Ecnonomics (based in Paris) will prepare a new draft and Framework for Action. Comments are welcomed on all parts of this document; especially on concrete activities that could be included in the 10YFP. Revisions of this document and inputs received from all stakeholders will be posted on the web at http://esa.un.org/marrakechprocess/index.shtmland http://www.unep.fr/scp/marrakech.
