Refinement of the sustainable development strategy and stakeholder dialogue

In 2007, the German Federal Government called for public participation in refining the country's sustainable development strategy. Ecologic and RIMAS were commissioned to analyse consultation and participation processes in Germany and Europe to develop proposals for the refinement of the German consultation process within the German sustainable development strategy. A workshop was organised in 2008 in cooperation with the "European Sustainable Development Network" (ESDN), to discuss the case study’s transferability as well as their success factors together with national policy implementers.
