Norwegian Environmental Assistance

The Norwegian Pollution Control Authority (SFT) is a subordinate agency of the Ministry of the Environment. Its goal is to promote sustainable development, i.e. to ensure that pollution, hazardous substances or waste do not reduce well-being or harm nature's own ability to renew itself. SFT carries out projects to build capacity for pollution prevention and control in Africa and Asia.
