Opinion: Building a trustworthy artificial intelligence

The opinion elaborates on how to concile technological innovations that are changing our society, such as artificial intelligence and other digital technologies, with the respect to values as, for instance, privacy and data protection. It then makes a parallel between the consideration of environmental problems by the law and the issues raised by the digital technologies, using the Aarhus Convention as a demonstrated case of effective change the way environmental issues are taken into account in Europe.
