Kyrgyzstan: Training seminar for Kyrgyz judges on facilitating citizens’ access to justice on environmental issues

The OSCE Centre in Bishkek conducted a training for Kyrgyz judges as part of its project on promoting environmental security through dialogue and enhanced disaster risk reduction. The concrete aim of the training was to give guidance on facilitating citizen’s access to justice in environmental matters, aiming at fostering the implementation of the Aarhus Convention’s provisions on access to justice. A further training course will take place in November for judges from the northern regions.
