Kazakhstan: OSCE supports seminar on implementing Pollutant Release and Transfer Register Protocol

Representatives of government entities, as well as of the private sector, met with Aarhus Centre delegates and NGOs in Astana at a seminar jointly organized by the OSCE and other organizations such as UNITAR and other environmental entities. The article briefly introduces the PRTR Protocol, before recounting the seminar that dealt not only with the PRTR but also with core subjects of the Aarhus Convention. The article ends with a brief sketch of the mission of Aarhus Centres.
