Kazakhstan: OSCE supports roundtable discussion on public participation

A roundtable discussion on public participation mechanisms in environmental decision-making supported by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) took place in Pavlodar for some 25 representatives of the national and local government offices, the private sector, civil society and academia. The event concludes the awareness raising project implemented in partnership with the Pavlodar Aarhus Centre. It is also part of the OSCE Programme Office’s efforts at promoting good governance and environmental protection.
