Italy, Vicenza: Referendum regarding High Speed railway line

The petition was signed by several people both online and on paper.  It is a result that the administration cannot ignore. Whereas in order to assert this right and observe this duty citizens must have access to information, be allowed to participate in decision making and access to justice in environmental matters. Recognizing that a more 'access to information and greater participation in decision-making processes improve the quality of decisions and strengthen the effectiveness contribute to public awareness of environmental issues and allow him to express his concerns by allowing public authorities to take due account -the Planning Guidelines Mandate 2013-2018 compiled by 'current administration report: "In the next five years the goal is to make the city a more united community and inclusive, promoting the involvement and role of citizens in the decision of the Municipal Administration through meetings, public discussions and use of innovative means of communication and participation, including through the implementation of the New Statute " The new statute provides in Title II Institutes Participation- Chapter IV The Referendum said this: the signed below, Liliana Zaltron, as a city council, claims that the Council Municipal give a mandate to the Mayor and the Board to proceed in order to announce for a referendum to be held in conjunction with the upcoming regional elections.
