Italy: the former Di Properzio area is highly contaminated

Thanks to the intervention of environmental organisations, information showing that a coastal area in Pescara is heavily contaminated with hydrocarbons, arsenic and benzene has become public. With the participation of the public, the process of deciding how to effectively restore the site has begun.
