EU: MEPs lodge complaint on access to information

Members of the European parliament have lodged a complaint against the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) in the Court of Justice of the EU, claiming that the agency has failed to give them access to studies upon which it has based its opinion on glyphosate, a controversial herbicide that it categorized as non-carcinogenic.
