Austria: 30 years after Hainburg : still much to be done!

Representatives of the Hainburg-Movement in 1984 have published the "Hainburger Declaration" which is a visionary paper with a time horizon until 2020, that shows what needs to be implemented in the context of the Danube Wetlands National Park in Austria. This paper contains legal and political demands including advanced party rights in specific environmental procedures with regard to nature conservation or water permissions in order to the fulfil the obligations set by the Aarhus Convention.
