The Working Group will discuss preparations to the second ordinary meeting of the Parties to be held on 25-27 May 2005 in Almaty (Kazakhstan) during its 4-day long meeting, 1-4 February, in Geneva. This includes both practical aspects and negotiations on various substantive issues, e.g. genetically modified organisms, public participation in international forums, access to justice, electronic information tools and the clearing-house mechanism. Civil society organizations will be represented at the meeting by the European ECO Forum.
